Community Alliance, offering an integrated health care approach and built on an array of mental health and primary care services, is seeking a Trauma Care Trainer.
The Trauma Care Trainer plans, facilities and provides continuous training across the organization and all services including conducting regular trauma-informed organizational and program-specific assessments.Development and implementation of basic and ongoing training on trauma, its impact and strategies for trauma-informed approaches and documentation across the agency and program functions.Identification and implementation of opportunities to support training and workforce development for staff to increase their trauma knowledge and interventions and incorporate trauma-informed practice and supervision in their work.Assess and monitor organizational progress for service enhancement and additional training opportunities.
Earned Bachelors degree in social work, rehabilitation, counseling, education or other related field from an accredited academic institution.Minimum of two (2) years progressively advance training and /or practice in the provision of trauma-informed care. Advanced knowledge, understanding and proficiency in articulating, practice and teaching of trauma-informed approach and strategies for implementation and support across all domains and on a service and organizational level. Demonstrated skills and competencies with curriculum development, teaching and training, quality improvement, performance evaluation measures and/or other areas relevant to the position. Ability to adapt training based on varied adult learning styles, culture and abilitiesExperience and effectiveness in working positively and effectively with diverse individuals including inter-professional and and multi-cultural teams. #INDEED
