Community Alliance, a pioneer in community mental health care in Nebraska for four decades is seeking a Medical Assistant with clinic experience to work in our integrated health care setting providing services to behavioral health and primary care patients. This position requires a Medical Assistant certification or Licensed Practical Nurse license. Medication Aide and BLS/CPR certification is required. The core hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM, with future one day per week rotation for an evening shift from 5:00PM - 8:00PM.
Under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Manager- Integrated Health Care Services, the Medical Assistant is responsible for the delivery of primary and behavioral health care and administrative responsibilities that places an emphasis on quality of care and customer service within an integrated care setting. The Medical Assistant will work under the direction of a licensed practitioner and will work collaboratively with all clinic services staff and other Community Alliance program staff in support of direct patient care. An individual in this role utilizes his/her professional knowledge, skills, and judgment in the conduct of his/her duties and contributes to the maintenance of a safe, supportive, rehabilitative, engaging, and welcoming environment for persons served and visitors to the organization.
